I imagine you worked hard for that exact light. If you did it was worth your time!
Very nice!!

I like how the river flows out of the image, the light on the left side of the river and of course the sun rays! One nit might be to crop a bit off the top (?). The sky has little character IMHO.

good work

Mike

A lovely shot indeed, Sasha.
Even though the road WAS there- I'd be tempted to clone it out so that the scene would convey the feeling of magnificent, untrammeled nature. Which it is. Except for the trammeled part .

A beautiful image. I tell myself to look around always while photographing a location, but more often than not, I get so carried away with what I am shooting that I forget. Great eyes.

Maji, it was hard not to look around, there was a crowd of photographers on a bridge; as soon as colors over the lake faded, they turned to the other side, to the creek. I think I was the last one to notice

A lovely spot and nice light!

Thank you, Evan!

Nice shot. It almost looks like you and Mr Fox were shooting at the same time!
Almost, but two months apart.

I remembered Jim's shot but for some reason did not relate it to this spot, and did not expect or plan anything, because it was my first time @ Glacier. Now, when I look - yes, it's the same, only sun rises more on the north, and much more water in a creek.

Greg, thank you! I did not "work hard", except for getting up early (at 4:30am) and driving all way from East Glacier to Many Glacier for sunrise.Things like this are hard to plan.

Mike, thank you. I was thinking about cropping the sky, and even tried it. I agree that it does not have much character but cropping throws the picture out of proportions. Perhaps it's the case when negative space is beneficial.

Jim, thank you. This is not HDR, by the way. I took multiple exposures, but ended up using only one.

Charlie, thank you, glad you liked it. Well, the road... of course I can clone it out, so it becomes alternative reality
