Terrific shot Harsha!!!!!! I will be visiting the Bristlecone forrest during my trip to the states in a few weeks time, but a night shot is out of the question due to time considerations. Even so, I would be happy with a shot half as good as this one.
.........the sky and the stars in color and detail are a joy of their own and could also appreciate them without the foreground tree
..........the foreground tree ties in nicely with its craggily form and shadows. It gives a nice amount of depth to the shot too. The angle it is leaning is perfect for this comp The warmth of the tree also ties nicely to the hint of warmth on the horizon.
A technical challenge well accomplished and proudly presented, it's all good for me my friend
