Scott-
The punched-up revision looks a bit unreal on my monitor.
But I really like the first two; they are colorful- yet believable, and excellent in all ways.

Two beautiful images Scott, to me your original first image seems to have more depth to it, and a very natural feel,IMHOO

Thank you Ray. I agree. I processed #1 to looks as close to actually being there as I could. To me it is exactly how I saw it. I did enlarge the moon slightly to compensate for the UWA lens making it look so small.

From one Scott to another, your images are always top-notch
As are all the beautiful variations above
Is this tastefully done HDR?
Looks great

Thank you very much Scoot? Typo or on purpose?
No HDR here. I did blend in a little bit of the hot areas in the sky with another exposure and the same for a few dark areas to help reduce noise.

Just a really well-balanced and exquisite scene. Nice work.
Second rendition works well for me (viewed on my NEC 2490WUXi2 at 6500k, 2.2 gamma; I believe most are probably not viewing on a similar display). But I like strong colors and find you need that extra bump when printing, and also when converting to jpeg. Colors always seem to be a bit more over the top on upload to this particular site (don't know if there's some default color adjustment going on or if it's just in my head).
