So glad to hear you like these ones Karl. The subtle colors are them are often lost. A lot of these were taken at the same time as some of Pelagics I have posted, they were nesting together.

We just returned from the Oregon coast as well and before that the Columbia River Gorge. Both are stunning and the cool weather was a delight compared to the heat wave hear in NYC.
The 3rd and the last show there beauty the best for me.

I have never seen these. Just the Florida type of comorants.
Your series just gets better and better as I scroll down and I like the single bird images the best.
Nice variety of poses. And the colors are quite interesting.

We do not see this bird on the east coast so it is such a pleasure to see. The feather detail,the behavior and that blue is just unreal.I cannot pick a fav they all are very very good .Thanks for shareing
