I wish I had lined it up properly before I got there. Unfortunately, I wasn't standing in the right spot and the fireworks were going of about 100 yards to the left of the Empire State Building. So this shot is a composite of two images. One of the Empire State Building and one of the fireworks that were going off just to the left of it.
At this point I don't think it is photography as much as it is digital art but I thought the result came out well and wanted to share it.
Nice work, Jeremy. I can't tell on my laptop how well the composite is articulated, but applaud you for the work. If you hadn't told us, I wouldn't have known. Love the colors. The building at bottom right edge seems rather bright and distracting to me.
