p.2 #1 · Bubble Level Introductory Price

Hi Michael,

The Ebay auction is a dutch auction, so the bids have apparently just gone over $20US. Of course I will still honour the $20 price for all FM forum users. You can just go ahead and make a payment of $25US ($5 shipping to US/Canada) to [email protected], or alternately I can send a PayPal invoice to your email address.

(BTW, no offence taken! )

Cheers, have a good night,
Ian

I had placed a bid on the Ebay auction earlier (xerisdesigngroup) and it is now gone. Should I just email you, go ahead and PayPal you, something else?

Even as good as the price is I don't really need two, so I don't want to get hit on Ebay and from here.

Dear all FM Forum Users,

You can avoid the eBay auction by making a PayPal payment of $25 USD ($20 + $5 Shipping USD) to [email protected].

Alternately, you can send an INTERNATIONAL money order to:

We had some discussion recently about whether commercial products should be allowed to use the forum. I think this kind of product should be here more often. There are a number of folks who make really useful things but who have a very hard time getting the word out. I assume this company fits that description. I'd like to see this more often. Some of these little vendors have reallly useful, hard to find stuff.
Other examples include the TodPod (a device which takes a ball head and fits in the cutouts of those jeeps used on African safaris) and the Jasper Engineering Pano head....
Who else has good stuff hidden out there

I know. Try to find this thing in GOOGLE. Sure if you know the exact name, you will find it. If you search for Bubble Hot Shoe...you won't.

This is the nicest level I have ever seen. I do interior shooting, so this along with my grid mirror, will REALLY help me get lined up.

Yeah, who else is hiding good stuff out there

Oh, I already got an email from Ian that it will be shipped today. That is excellent service...IMO. Thank you.

Ian,

1) If I order two levels, the price is $45 including shipping?

2) What method do you use for shipping and what is the expected transit time to California? One of these will be for a birthday gift and that person's b-day is on Aug 23.

Thanks!

Mark

Mark,

1. Your total is correct.

2. If you want to get the item by Aug 23rd however, you will need to pay for faster shipping than standard parcel post. For 4-5 business day delivery it is an extra $4 (so $49 total). Anything faster than that and you are looking at an additional $20US.

Email me at [email protected] for further details.

Wow, I'm having trouble keeping up with all of you excellent FM forum users!
I'd like thank you all for having faith in my start-up and I promise to excel in all facets of customer service!

I'm curious about the post above about the TodPod, etc. Our bubble level was just introduced this week, so there won't be any information on it out yet. This is a great forum for users to get to know the smaller players, as there are a lot of hard working creative individuals out there coming out with fantastic products.

So, as long as Jobu isn't stepping on anyone's toes, we will pop into FM every once in a while with special offers and new products.

If you can suggest the next killer product out there, feel free to email me directly at [email protected] and we will endeavour to create it and offer you the chance to Beta test the products for free. This is what we did with our Black Widow Gimbal, and it worked out fantastically for all parties involved.

Cheers, everyone have a great weekend!
-Ian
ps. Wish me luck with getting over this nasty food poisoning too, ok?

Sound great Ian, and I look forward to getting the level.

Yes, I would suggest your next venture be something along the lines of a money-making-machine, perhaps the JobuCash system. I would offer my services at a beta tester, and look forward to hearing back from you. Given the nature of this new product, I would not ask for any royalties or fees of any type.

Looks cool, but I just got a double level for my birthday. And my wife would kill me if I bought a gimbal head, although I'd love one.

Mat, I was thinking about my old 110 camera with the flash cubes the other day. Wonder if I still have any of that stuff boxed up somewhere.

Payment sent via PayPal although I was questioning last week if the hot shoe on my drebel is actually square with my sensor plane. I had put a buble level on top of my hot shoe and it did not seem to be level. Your device seems more precise so I'll be able to test it more easily. If it works out well, it will sure make panoramas easier!

Thanks,
