Yowza, is all I can say. Looks like you had fun meeting some FMers, too. These are very special, indeed, Conrad. I esp. like the parent and young-uns. I want to shoot these, too someday!
All of the eagle shots are amazing but the look and posture of #8 is quite unique. What are you exact locations, if I may ask?
Did you come to NY?...I think I would know...hmmm. I guess you picked the one weekend I couldn't get away....I think my niece would have been a bit perturbed if I missed her wedding and party the next day...I chose not to find out...sorry dude...next time. But I do get to oogle these pix...does it screw you up that the water is on the other side
Apparently not...next time give me a bit more notice so I can tell my relatives to change any major plans that they might have
Eric
Once again I have to say that your posts just keep getting better and better! Really like the intimate shots of the parents and chicks!! The BE series speaks for itself. And that last image is not too shabby either!! (I want)
I am not afraid to say that you downright amaze me and at the same time make me grin ear to ear to see someone capture so much elegance and offer to share it. There was a time not too long ago that you would post an enormous amount of images and I would say they looked very nice and then perhaps PM you and say 'why not slow down a bit and show more quality then quantity'...................I would get that 'hehehe ya' from you
Well my friend I do spend quite a bit of time looking at images here and find all sorts of levels of appreciation based on the skill sets that I believe the photographer has and critique accordingly in hopes to continue to push them or want them to better themselves. Here is proof that you are the 'Teacher' my friend................you have a one-on-one bond with nature and your gear and are able to connect them anywhere you go............that is a pretty darn special quality to have Mr Conrad
Take me seriously my friend...............these images are some of the very finest I have seen and it blows me away that you post not just 'one' good image but a multitude of great images! You are a match for your gear, the gear is working to keep up with you..............for you there are no boundaries or confinements that I see. It may sound silly but you are a 'free spirit' when you are out in nature and like a sponge you absorb it all
There is but one or two here that I might nit you on just to keep you honest but that is not needed here, I simply want to say these are a lesson in motivation and a product of dedication and talent

Karl,
You genuinely are the most supportive voice in my head when I am out and about trying to get my shots. I remember the days when you would nit nit nit at my work, and I ate up every single word. They still ring in my ears today. I truly appreciate your kind words of support, and appreciate more your friendship. I hope to someday get to shoot with you my friend. I will always be a student to your opinions and advice. I thank you so very much for the time you take to help me and others here. My gosh I've never been so honored!!!!!!!! You da man!!
