treebeard: Glad you like 3. It was fun to see. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
scraptag: Glad you like them. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
PennsyBill: 2 cubs is normal but I know of several in the area with 3. I suspect that the other cub did not make it. You are right - she looks like a young mom and likely would not have time for another set that takes 2 years. Usually the cubs of the old mom's do better because mom is more capable and likely have experienced the loss before which makes them wiser. Glad you like the shots. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Ladyforty: I have no more excuses for bad framing (200-400), too close (200-400) or too far (7d with 600 w 1.4x). Glad you like the set. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Thanks Scott...might think about dusting off the passport for fall color...
If you come, I suggest:
1) Book the bus to lake ohara and go up to obapbum basin
2) Hike the Larch trail mid week - you need 4 people for bears but if you hang out at the trailhead you can join some people
3) Consider a flight $150x2 into mount assiniboine. Stay at their lodge - expensive but worth it.
4) Drive to the top of highwood pass- you will find larch - hike up ptarmigan cirque - easy - lots of bears around this area for photography
5) Elk in rut near minewanka. Grizzlies eating berries on Bow Valley Parkway.
