Sneakyracer: Glad you like the bears. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
horobosu: We followed you out and found some girl bighorn near the Elbow Lake parking lot and then we drove by it noting the dandelions that the grizzly love and as we turned the corner Dan spotted the mom and cub in the shade. I would not have seen them while driving without Dan. Then after an hour we drove home and came accross another just short of the season closing blockade. I guess that means you need a spotter. Or keep driving until you find Scott and Dan with the big lens out. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Claude: It is a rare day in the spring/summer/fall when I don't see at least 1 moose. So if you come again, let me know and I will find you a moose. Glad you like the pictures. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
ScottHM: I sure hope your visit works or you will accuse me of going to the zoo. Let me know when you are close and I will provide an update of where I think your best prospects are. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Ed Swift: Munching the flowers is my favorite as well for the shaded bear with light behind my back and a good pose. You can get a good picture with awkward light but a great exposure requires having some diffused light and the light at your back. Glad you like the pictures. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

canadajim: We saw Moose just north of the gas station around 6:30 and in the mud at Engedine Lodge at 7:30and then again at about 20km past Highwood Pass at 8:30. Then mom and cub at the park utility road around 9:30 and then near the seasonal fence on the way back at 11AM. Glad you like the pictures. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Scott - nice! #1 and #4 are my favs. I don't think I'd like to meet Mom in #1 on the trail though - she looks big! I've only seen Grizzlies a couple of times and never this close.

Scott, great photos! how much are you loving that lens?
Also when I was in that area last summer, we saw a wolf trying to get to a momma black bear and cubs, and then this vehicle rolled up, the bear patrol or something and made everyone leave.

MaxBerlin: I have shot black bears with my 85 1.2. Its a bit close when you smell their breath. Glad you like 4,5. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
WesN: This mom is very good. She would not attack unless you surprised her and the cub. But it would be exciting. Glad you like 1,4. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
big country: The bear scarying people are busy right now. But they don't run you off - they run the bears off. You have to be lucky to find a bear while they are not around. There is a balance where they make them reticent for others but I can still find them It is a great lens. Glad you like the photos. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Scott - What a great way to spend the day. All are great but there is something special with #1. I would have the one on the wall.

SSISteve: It was a great day to spend the day. I am glad you like 1. The bear was in the shade and the sun was at my back and it worked for exposure and interest. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
