Thank you so much.
I just had this printed on canvas at 19x40 and it will be part of an upcoming juried art show entitled "Untamed" at Moose Hill Audubon in MA.

While I would have cropped out the first one which is half out of frame, I otherwise love this image. Excellent treatment!

Tim,
thanks for commenting. You are in the minority of those who commented on the partial wildebeests at one end of the frame or the other. The printed canvas is similar to the image above, mirroring a bit of the entering and exiting bodies as the canvas wraps 1.5" around the sides. Seemed to work well. with many strong reviews at the Audubon opening last week.
Thanks for posting these Scott! With such a wonderful capture, any of the 3 versions are going to impress, but my very personal preference is for the color version. I usually always lean towards the color version though when comparing photos except for particular shots where color just does not work and black and white is necessary.
I think the crop you did on the tweaked second photo above is about perfect, as the sky in the normal color version is distracting. I would hang any of them on the wall, but would go #1 for the original color version with the crop job of the second tweaked photo applied.
I agree with you that the half animal on the far right adds a sense of continuity to the image and I wouldn't crop it out either.
Thanks Lauren.
Not sure where you are, but the toned canvas is on display at the "Untamed" exhibit, Moose Hill Audubon in Sharon. PM me if you are heading this way.
I also have "Box of LInes", a square cropped BW of three overlapping zebra heads in the show.
