I debated that. Then decided that it emphasized the continuous line of running wildebeests and provided and odd "continuation" from the beest entering the frame on the left.
I am a bit surprised others havent commented on this issue. I have been taking it mean it works as is....but you never know

I love the technique and hoped to do something similar when I was on the Serengeti, I never managed to be in the right place when the wildebeest were running.
You really nailed this one!
