p.1 #1 · T Ball, because I was reminded of how fun the game is
At first I was dismissive of the little league posts, with an attitude of that's not real sports photography. But the more posts I saw on here, the more I saw the genuine fun of being a kid, not worrying about the score and playing for the sake of "playing!". As such, I have made an effort to shoot some of the local action recently and found it to be refreshing and an enjoyable change of pace.
Quick backstory on the first photo. The little girl notices the boy playing the field dropped his hat when he went to get the ball. She stopped running to pick up his hat and give it to him. After a quick conversation she trots off to second, and he then chased her to tag her out. She was safe, but it was just funny how it all unfolded. I hope I've been able to capture the enjoyment of the game in this series.
#5 Not my best shot of the day, but I wanted to show a shooting angle I don't see often. Given the flexibility of the game, I had free range to shoot from basically anywhere on the field

John....that's a neat story. These shots tell what it's all about. Paul said it....you captured it. Nice work.
PS...if you are shooting from on the field and near the dugouts....listen to some of the conversations that go on in there from this age group. Definitely brightens the day.
