Two images from the many I took.
A bit hard to get the sense of scale. Thousands of migrating wildebeests and zebras, plus throw in a few elephants here and there and you get a bit of the idea. Lines of migrating animals in near and far background along the western Serengeti.
Thoughts about impact, processing? Preference between the two?
I plan to try BW, probably toned versions at some point.
Feel free to play but explain what you have done.
While the first one brings us into the elephant more, I think the compression of the telephoto is working against the magnanimity of the scale.
Just wondering, any chance you shot any of this with a portrait orientation? I might consider taking this one and splitting it into sections with portrait orientation. Spreading it apart on the wall might enhance the "breadth", while the portrait orientation of each could enhance the "depth" ... possibly "growing" the scale in both directions via "implied" perception.
