Good captures, a couple points of view I have not seen before. Ratty, do you know if in the history of the "Wall", the vegetation has always been so near the structures?

A good series, Ratty.
I especially like the perspective and composition of the third shot. And the distant person wearing red is a wonderful punctuation point.
Douglas raises a good question. I've only been to that very busy section of the wall that's near Beijing- and there was virtually nothing green near the wall- which was at the crest of a rugged backbone and had steep drops on both sides.
This must be a different place.
