Just soft & fuzzy, not soft,fuzzy and grainy ...
Never really got it where I wanted it (close enough for concept) ... so, likely more of a draft for a possible re-shoot. I think my lighting was too low-contrast and I had to push things a bit harder in post than I would have liked, so I tossed in the grain for a possible "save". Curious @ how print vs. screen might translate, but since I have such little background in printing ...
I'm feeling this one kinda "large" if I can get it right (might take a while). Thoughts
Next time maybe try for not such an abrupt fall-off in tone, I don't think it helps here. Also not fond of the grain ( bet you never thought you would here that from me ).
the good ol' Fibonacci Sequence...we used it as a design tool in school...I like the leading line it creates, and I like the motion generated by the OOF areas. I also like the lighter toning, makes it feel softer, conveying the softness of the flower.
