Nice Travis. Where was this taken?
Thanks Greg. It was shot at Navarre Beach, Florida. The ocean was closed with double red flag conditions due to the storms approching. The rip current even ankle deep in the water was the strongest I have ever felt.

Very nice Travis and glad the gear survived!
Nice to hear from you Klaus, thank you. Yep, the 7D survived a splashing....thankfully!

I would like to sit just in front and watch the waves. Good one!
Thank you Mado.
I did just that for a little while once I got my shot...there were enough people walking on the shore that I was afraid someone would walk right in between my gear and the water, leaving footprints in the sand...but everyone who walked by was very polite, and walked behind me...sad to think that surprised me!

Great one Travis, one second is just about perfect for this exposure.
Thanks Rich. I agree, it left just enough detail in the surf...the longer ones I tried left none of that detail, and I didnt have the Big Stopper to go really long...thanks for dropping in.

So I click on this. It catches my eye. I'll be damned if it's not yet another Travis Rhoads photo! Nice, one!
You are too kind..thank...kinda made my day, its been a rough one...
I'm with Sharona. Your shots are frequently my favorite and I find myself looking for your entries. I think it's because we have similar styles, you just do it better!

You are too kind as well...thank you very much. I work really hard at my work, and it is all very personal to me. Something as simple as the image for this assignment had a lot more go into it than it appears...thanks for noticing it.
