I had the chance to visit the northeast coast of Taiwan this week during a business trip. These interesting and large rock formations only occur in a small area. Hope you enjoy!

Really like the light balance youve achieved here, kept the sky and sea in detail, but also the near side rock.

Light looks to be coming Right to left - how did you get so much detail in "shadow" area of the rock ?

Thanks for the compliment. The longer exposure gave me more shadow details, and I lightened the shadows in PP.

The location is Nanya, Taiwan. It's northeast of Taipei.

Really great shot! I love how you were careful to keep detail throughout the image. I might suggest a bit more darkening of the upper right sky area to better balance the image, but that's just personal preference. Very very nice! I also like how the rocks in the water fill in the composition neatly and help balance the image.

Great shot. The formation has a surreal quality I like and the colors work well.
