Careful, John.

You're going to upset a lot of "professional" photographers who will vehemently deny that you can take worth while photos with gear costing less than $10,000 and have to have gone to school or have had years of experience

Worse, you're going to inspire anybody with a new cell phone!

Ok, how did you get the depth of field with the bubble gum?? I just tried a similar shot (iPhone 5) and no can do...

I don't think I did anything but angle the lens about 45 degrees from the horizontal plane...but it's possible that I played with the linear tilt shift feature in instragram.
