Great shots-showed my wife too, and she loves the lion pair. Africa is one of my dream trips-maybe after I win the lottery(if I win big I won't be seen in Iowa for a year).
It was nice talking to you yesterday too, and thanks for the tips.
Really great images, Harsha, with that low angle and diffuse light against the nice skies. Better rates, better skies, great light--what a deal. With Botswana on my bucket list, I appreciate your helpful comments about the trip itself, particularly about the seasonal timing and lens you used (and left behind). I've worried about the hassle of lugging my heavy 600mm on a trip like this. You are the third person to recommend the long zoom and no 600mm, plus you have the shots as proof.
Thanks! --- John

Masterful Harsha!
The portraits are all quite special and because of the rarity I will choose the wild dog as my favorite although I keep going back to the big male lion. The leopard shot is top shelf as well with a fabulous background to go with a nice pose with that slightly bent left foreleg...
Eric
Thank you very much Eric. I am glad that you like my leopard shot. Coming from a leopard expert means a lot to me.

Great detail, colors, composition. The environment looks so...African! I can almost imagine being there. The male lion is my favorite; there's something about his expression that is almost wistful.
Greg
Thank you Greg. Glad you like the set.
