You got some great images...I particularly like the streamlined look and the background of #3 though, it screams of the desire to get it done, "fast".
Thank you, Scott. Yep, they seemed very busy

Beauties Socrate!! I wish I was there shooting with you, these are such elegant birds I wish I was there!! Top notch techs all around, I'm just looking and smiling. Well done my friend

Thank you, Tim. I wish you were there too. I was shooting with another friend and we had a ball shooting these guys. They were coming from every direction
If you ever plan to come to FL, Viera Wet is a good place to go. Let me know if you ever do and I'll come down to show you the place. It is seven hour drive from were I live, but I don't mind driving.

A great job on the exposures Socrate. This is an extra nice set all the way around. I am particularly fond of the shots that show translucent wings. And the one with the redhead would have been great if that d&%n bird hadn't flown in the way... ~ Ron
Thank you, Ron I know, too bad about the redhead. Don't you just hate that!

Wow! Love all of them, especially the one with the lady and her gigantic lens in the background...made me lol. These images are so crisp and perfectly exposed.
Glad to hear you liked these, Buckeye1. Thank you!

I'm with Ron: the heck with the damn birdies; I want to see a better shot of the redhead .
On a more serious note (tra la), these are remarkably fine images.
I had no idea these guys had such colorful feathers during the breeding season.
To some twisted minds, there is an unexpected humor to this series:
Some of the shots show the birds carrying nesting material TO the right, and
some of the shots show the birds carrying nesting material TO the left.
Perhaps the female kept changing his () mind?
(Just kidding, FM ladies.)

Thanks for the comments, Charlie.
I was in the middle of their flying patterns so some pics are taken from one side and others from the opposite, but they are all going in the same direction
Sorry for the redheaded. I tried to get a better shot of her, but every time either a bird, or a rear-view mirror would get in the way
Thanks again
