You sure stretched out the whites and the details in this set. You always have nice clouds in your blue skies
Stick carriers 1,5 are sweet. #1 Looks like the Peace Dove, great shot.
I really like #2 but maybe the top wing is just a bit too bright for my likes
Cloud at bottom of #3 looks a bit odd
Hmm #4, makes me wonder what was below
These seem like you were able to get very close, details are quite amazing.
Impressive open feel to shadows yet enough to be a nice accent and add contrast.
Karl
Thank you, Karl. These are the continuation of the Caracara set. Same place, same sky
I didn't see any red warning light in #2 when I edited. 248, the highest value on my monitor
I added a bit of canvas in #3 at the bottom using content aware to slide the bird higher in the frame for composition. I thought PS had done a good job, but now that you mentioned it does look a bit funny
Below the bird in #4 there was water with aquatic plants. No more wondering
Yeah, the birds were flying really close. These are FF or close to.
Thanks again for the detail comments, my friend

Beauties Socrate!! I wish I was there shooting with you, these are such elegant birds I wish I was there!! Top notch techs all around, I'm just looking and smiling. Well done my friend
A great job on the exposures Socrate. This is an extra nice set all the way around. I am particularly fond of the shots that show translucent wings. And the one with the redhead would have been great if that d&%n bird hadn't flown in the way... ~ Ron
Wow! Love all of them, especially the one with the lady and her gigantic lens in the background...made me lol. These images are so crisp and perfectly exposed.
Socrate-
I'm with Ron: the heck with the damn birdies; I want to see a better shot of the redhead .
On a more serious note (tra la), these are remarkably fine images.
I had no idea these guys had such colorful feathers during the breeding season.
To some twisted minds, there is an unexpected humor to this series:
Some of the shots show the birds carrying nesting material TO the right, and
some of the shots show the birds carrying nesting material TO the left.
Perhaps the female kept changing his () mind?
(Just kidding, FM ladies.)
