You sure worked Yosemite Valley over very nicely. My favorite here is #2, a super shutter speed, and I like the sprinkling of gold in the water. #1 is my next favorite, that is some nice framing of El Capitan. I think it could use a bit more darkening though of the midtones, it feels like a lack of contrast in the face of El Cap.
Steve - I found a 'formula' using silver efex pro 2 that seemed to work as good starting place for these bright sun, blue sky compositions by under exposing and increasing the red channel.
Dan - Yes, a piece of driftwod drifted between the rocks but I wasn't going to go down to remove it. And if by Bill you mean Bill Neill, he is the one who took me to this location and I know he has images of it as well.
Sunny - in hind sight, you're right, I should have taken additional images with more space but I guess I was trying to do something different from those I have seen.
