Unfortunately I don't get to shoot on the diamond, my kids have now all,declared the rectangle their favorite.
Curious, do you find it easier shooting baseball / softball than the bigger field sports?
@Guy, thanks. For me, not really. The *ball sports are tougher for me as they're so unpredictable...I have gone entire games without getting a good infield shot for example.
Aqualung, on getting the shot, it helps to anticipate where the play might be. if runners are at first and second, set up for third base to catch a steal. or if there is a runner at first, focus on second for the start of a double play, or a steal.
Thanks Mark, def do that...I'm also watching the pitch count, score, RH/LH batter, keeping track of how they've done in the game, watching where the other coach places their defense, etc...lots to keep in mind, just not always able to predict where the batter puts the ball
