... for a while, maybe. It's been a bad year for insects with all the rain here but a few did show. This is the Blue Banded Bee just before it warmed up and woke up, native to Oz, with Blue Salvia and reflective in BG.

You need to know a bit about the creatures habits; this bee sleeps the way you see him, gripping the stem in his mandibles. And they don't fly at night, as a general rule, especially when it's been raining and temps are down. Other than that and the usual you can find here - http://beingmark.com/macro-illustrated/ - I have a sun reflector behind it with some blue salvia in front of that and just shoot until you get enough to know there are some keepers.
