Jordan, I like it a lot, definitely seems more unique then most of 'the well' shots. It's a little contrasty, and the highlights are maybe a tad bright, but that's your style and you make it look great, so I say stick to it.
I'm not sure I'd change a thing. Thanks for sharing this awesome shot.
Great shot, i love the definition in the clouds, and that you have some texture in the water emptying into the 'well'. It really conveys the power of the ocean!

Thanks everyone. Thanks for the great info Mark. Just a lot of techniques and tricks I'm just not aware of. Processing is definitely not my strong area but I'm getting better slowly. The diffused glow is a great idea. I'll finally be back home in a little over a month and I'll have to give this a rework on my on my good monitor. You guys have been a big help an I really appreciate all the input.

Lastly, I guess it is bound that everyone is going to call this place Thors Well even though it is not the name (that was a name of a photo taken of it that popularized the spot).
Are you sure? Even Google maps has it labeled as Thor's Well.
To share some stupid stories here, I dropped my 16-35L twice in a row in a month, and the cost to repair it adds up to the same amount as what I paid for it. So I decided that even if in the future I own better wide angles, I'll keep this one just for the sake of reminding me how careless I was.
