Respectable review site in our country which reviews among others LCD displays is using it for testing and they like it. I suppose its good enough then (i1Display Pro).
Hi friends I know I'm digging up an old post here but hopefully will find some answers and suggestions on Calibration.
I also have just got a new imac 27 with the new Mavericks OS and was wondering how to proceed with calibration. skasol how did it go for you finally and why do you ask about the results looking yellow? My previous experience with an Asus laptop and Windows 7 system was completely off when calibrated with a Spyder.
I actually had a faulty display and that was the reason it was yellow. I since exchanged the iMac for a new one and calibrated and it's flawless. Thank you for asking.
i1 here also. 120 luminance level, which translates to brightness contrail at about 50%. Agree between my prints, made with custom ICC profiles, and the monitor is generally quite good. Happy to send you a profile if you'd just like to see how it renders your monitor's color - not a replacement for your own calibration of course.
