I don’t remember which island, there is at least one photographer form Hawaii that I’ve seen post wildlife.
On the Big Island, I’m way too intrigued by the volcano and associated geography and activity to spend much time photographing wildlife. For example this image:

I live on Oahu and do a lot of bird photography. If you are on the island PM me and will be glad to meet/take you out to some birding spots. I can also suggest places/people on Big Island to bird.
