Tim: Were you wearing a uniform? Helmet? Otherwise, I don't know how they would have let you on to the playing field to get these kinds of shots. I love the immediacy. Even that third shot, which looks like it should have been across the field from you, looks like it wasn't. Just earlier today I was thinking about how I'd much rather be shooting football during the day than soccer at night. Now I'm jealous. Nice work. You nailed it.

Tim,
I've always loved the way you shoot football -- and these are no exception. The colors are so nice and warm and the action is remarkable too. I love being able to see the eyes inside the face in 1, 2 and 4. Thanks for sharing -- and great to see you posting such great stuff again.

Great set indeed and i know what i'm talking about for i do mostly football. Superb moments, incredible angles (yeah where were you ?) great positioning. My preference are exactly in the order you have placed them here. Great job and thanks for sharing. By the way great WB too, i always found Canon had the upper hand in that aspect as far as auto WB goes. But once in post process there's of course no difference between both brands.
I'm guessing your shots were taken at sun down with park lights on, am i right ?

Thanks Paul, Ted, James, Marty, Rick and Jim
Sgt. Ray, shots as sun was setting and lights starting to impact images - so yes you are right. I always struggle with WB as I am usually too warm and not always accurate. Thanks for you comments.

Nice shots Tim just left Knoxville a couple weeks ago. Was there for the UT graduation. Actually from Nashville and plan on headed back that way soon for good. Keep the good pics coming...
