We have arrived at Palouse, WA. after a beautiful trip through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah & Idaho. Each has provided ample photo opportunities and unique perspectives. Now that we are in Washington state we need some help determining the "Must-see feature in Eastern Washington"... We have plans for "Step-toe Butte" & "Palouse Falls" but past that are open to suggestions... Thank you, Jim
Jim, if you like to shoot wildlife, try Turnbull NWR near Cheney, WA. I saw lots of migrating ducks there, as well as a nice bull moose. Also, I found lots of photogenic barns by driving back roads.
The Butte and falls are the high spots, Turnbull is also great. I lived there for 20 years and had to be shown how to get to the back roads. A county road map is good to have. The good roads and barns are west and south of Steptoe Butte but you have to wonder around for them. I recall crossing or seeing the Palouse river as we made our loop.

So I will head SW of Steptoe, get lost, and find barns.. Sounds like a regular day of shooting for us, the lost part that is.. Thanks Ben...
