I've got a question for the OM-D E-M5 users: is it possible to change the rotation direction of the main top dial when zooming or changing settings other than F-number? I can change the direction of the dial when using it to change F-number in Aperture mode (through custom menu B), but not when using it to zoom or change any other setting.
For example, when its function is set to zoom (in Play mode), rotating it clockwise zooms out instead of in. Or, when I use it to cycle through images, it cycles left when rotated clockwise, instead of right. Such a minor thing, but very frustrating to me nonetheless..
Yeah I guess that's what I'll do. I did some digging, and it seems what I want just isn't possible. In A mode I now assigned F-number to the main dial and reversed its direction, and assigned exposure comp to the secondary dial, so they both rotate the right way now.
