p.1 #1 · Meet Dana, the forest nymph [lifestyle/editorial] - MG Collab Part Two
Dana is a forest nymph that we came across at Double Trouble State Park. She loves to have her picture taken, and also enjoys PB & J sandwiches.
Many thanks to these wonderful people:
Make up artist: Cady Grossman
Second Photographer: Stan Stolowski
Assistant: Laura Tedeschi
If you haven't seen it already, check out part one of the collaboration project. Part three will be up soon.
You can check out the rest of this session on my blog

For me 14 stood out. Fun series.
For to me the colors are a little lost / yellow in the first two. Blacks and colors are a bit different in some but I think that reflects the light well.

Great set of photos!
The most memorable novel I read during high school was about a forest nymph. For fun take a look at Green Mansions by W.H. Hudson.
Whoah. I just read an excerpt from it, and I think I'll be making a new book purchase soon. Thanks for the compliments and book choice. Who knows, maybe it will creatively spark more ideas for me XD

You know how I feel about these, man. You know.
Yeah son! The reactions via fb messenger as you went through them were priceless XD

Marvellous.
Is this what a world with sunlight looks like?
That sun was absolutely amazing. I was so glad to be able to use flare in this setting to make Dana look "magical" in her forest nymph like ways. So so good.

#10 stands out the most for me! Great set!
10 is one of my favorite headshots from the group. My only nit is that I should have closed the aperture a stop or so (this was shot at f/1.4). Her eyes are slightly soft, but I'm glad that I got the capture overall

Awesome images, I particularly like #7.
Thank you! Dude, she was nuts for that photograph. She volunteered to balance on that log..which is overhanging a body of water. She did it for art, of course!

The shots over by the lake are some of my favorites. We planned on shooting in this location earlier, but the sun was a bit harsh. I'm glad we came back here towards the end of the shoot, as the sun was about to set. The reflection from the water bouncing off her face gave us some great light to work with
I used three different presets I made specifically for this set. The ones with more flare have a bit more yellow in the highlights. Regardless, I tried to keep the color toning consistent with a forest feel to it.

Thank you!

Those are very good. I like #1 because the flare with the rainbow, kind of gives her some "wings".
Thank you! I particularly like one because of how the flare gives off that magical foresty feel. This was exactly what I was attempting to aim for.

Nice work and lovely model.
Just a nit--shorten the straps on her dress and the top will fit better.
Thank you! I'll take that into consideration next time.
I'm glad everyone is enjoying this set. It's definitely my favorite out of the collaboration. I have one more set coming up soon, and I have to say it has been an amazing experience working with other talented artists. If anyone is interested in working on a collab, feel free to shoot me a message.

Lovely images and mood! 14 is divine.
Can't let you go without a little critique, though, so I'll just put in that 6 and 15 are blown, but you knew that already.
