I will be shooting and the camera sits for a few minutes and powers down (which it is supposed to when not being used for x period of time) but it doesn't turn back on when depressing any button.( I've tried all different buttons) the battery has to be pulled before it will cycle back on.
the reason I am asking is that I know I need to send it in, but I was looking for what you stated to Canon and was it fixed. It doesn't do it all the time, only periodically and it just started doing it. I have searched the web for this so that it would be easier to explain to CPS but haven't found any others with the stated problem.
Have you tried to check the the Camera status log under the System status display option in the the Setup4 tab of the menu system? Maybe there is an error in it?
