Have been testing out my 16-35, I got here a little later than I would've liked, but was curious about feelings on this shot and what I could do to make it better.
I'll have to get back earlier when I can get the sun coming through that downed tree better.

Thanks. It was about 10:30 this morning. I think it would've been a little sharper, but one of my tripod legs was in the water and I think the movement of the stream had an effect.

Nice work on these, I really like #1, that is a great composition. I love my 16-35mm, I am sure you will enjoy the lens.

Thanks Jim...fixed my transgressions...although I couldn't help myself and went a little above. There were a couple other locations I would've liked to shoot from, but I really need better boots to get to them.
