This is lake ice slamming up against rocks at the shore. This is Lake Winnipeg at Victoria Beach, MB. A place I go to a lot! Unfortunately, this is the weekend they close the area off to visitor vehicles. So you have to use the parking lot and walk or bike in. Which is a bit of a pain with hauling gear.
