It is sad, I agree.
The good news is that I saved hundreds, if not thousands, by getting the YN-622C package, because now I don't feel any need for the 600EX-RT.
My Vivitars and older Canon Speedlites have been given new life by the Yongnuos, and if I get any more flash guns in the near future they will very likely be Yongnuos, too.
