You got up early to get these guys Tim and the light is lovely and soft on the BB matching their delicate blues. Have yet to see one of these fellas. Super bg in 1 and 3 too and I love the comp in # 3.
Mr CB is looking real perky especially in the last one which would look even better if you cleaned up the few bits in the right bottom corner
A wonderful set!
Cheers,
Martin
Got up early? You don't know the half of it Martin, I had to leave the house at 3:00 AM to get out to these guys for sunrise, and then it clouded over! Heck, I need my beauty sleep

Sweet shots Tim....not sure if I like the quail better in the photo or on my plate...but when I see these I feel a tad guilty about eating their delicious little bodies (but only a tad...and all that guilt is making me hungry )
You sure do know how to make the most of the light
Eric
I like the quail both ways myself
Ah the light, let's not talk about it, it was awful
Quite a difference between the Eastern and Western BB. These have more delicate hues of blue, as you images show very well, and that goes well with the soft light you captured. I like the third shot best of the BB series
I like the setting in the Quail shots, with the last one being my favorite.
Very good job, Tim!

Tim, that opening shot is really sweet. Love it.
The BB on a rock is very nice with the inclusion of the environment. So is #4.
#3 & 5 are more gorgeous images.
Great shooting!
