The Rookery is a rocks throw from the C&TSRR yard. A lot of my Heron Photos are taken while I am sitting in the grass on railroad property.

Hi Douglas, not a problem being on railroad property, for many years now I take all their photos and videos.

Very nice work Roger, I really am enjoying the set. The backlit flyers with the glowing bills sure are a different take. Top notch techs all around, these are marvelous!

Very nice job on these Roger. A nice variety of poses too. It looks like all the nests are in one tree? In my area, the rookeries are normally very close to water - is the water near this rookery?
