Saturday started off with a severe thunder storm and featured showers and thunder storms all day long. I checked the radar and decided to head to the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area as I wanted to be there as the bad storm ended. This paid off as I had the park to myself and the birds were plentiful and active.

Great stuff Morris. That crow looks positively miserable.

Thank you Harry,
It is amazing how we read our thoughts into creatures minds. Sometimes it is very clear what they are thinking. There were rumbles of thunder in the distance when I photographed the crow and you could see the squall line approaching so the crow was uneasy just like me. The photos were taken as I moved in the direction of shelter.
