How about this shot? It was taken in Canyon X, Arizona.

Nice sense of depth and interesting textures, but that ghostly branch on the right is pretty bizarre. Did you run some filter to make the sand look like water?

nice effect... just clone the branch out before the flooding takes effect

But the branch suppose to be submerged in the water, which is very clear. Doesn't it look this way?

textures along the bottom of the canyon are definitely a plus.

Thanks Jon. That was my intention. I set the opacity of the water effect to 50% and the textures came out...
