I thought these guys from the lowlands were pretty cool. I've seen them several times before but had a pretty cool opportunity in April with one that was coming in to a fruit feeder :-)

To me that's an outstanding image, with great sharpness, exposure, details and pose. The Pale-billed is probably the closet non-extinct relative of the (presumably extinct) iconic Ivory-billed, and I got a great thrill when I heard the double knock of this species in Panama, similar to all those Ivory-billed descriptions from many years ago.
