Did you feel your 500 was long enough or do you wish you would've had the 600? i am headed to africa and we are taking 100-400, 300 2.8 IS II, 600 4.0 IS II. thinking about buying a 500 II to save the 1.5 lbs

Hey Marcy, it was unfortunate to have had the evening sun slip behind the cloud just before this unfolded - but a quick upping of the iso helped...1/500 was on the edge of being enough speed. Thanks for commenting!
