This may be old news to some, but was "new news" to me, is that there is now a plug in with Photomatix Pro that allows for tone mapping adjustments within Lightroom 4, using the standard tools in the Develop module. For those (like myself) that found the adjustment tools in Photomatix not very intuitive, this is a real plus.
