We saw a ton of lions but this one pride (21 strong) were hanging out in this tree all day - in the afternoon when we came back with hopes of good light then they crawled out of the tree and under our vehicles for shade that made for some interesting shots - for those of you wondering how close we were it was close and the other safaris had to stay on the road you can see one of their vehicles in the distance -

Our friends in the other vehicle took this and a bit over processed it - but there is Jim ,me, my husband and the crowd

Could you get a bit closer There is something quite special about being in such close proximity to one of the savannah's top predators.....it is quite the adrenaline rush!
