Took this yesterday at the Birmingham Rose Society's annual Rose Show at the B'ham Botanical Gardens. Critiques/suggestions are most welcome, as I'm fairly new to flower photography. Thanks for looking-- Charlie.
Red is notoriously difficult to work with, and this came out quite nicely on my monitor.
You may have some issues printing it, but don't get overwhelmed or frustrated. If it does go haywire on you, you can reprocess with less saturation and then work the brightness in several iterations of printing.
If you are "fairly new" to the art, I'd say that you have a good handle on it, just keep on truck'n.

Thank you for the printing tip and the kind words, Gene. I will probably send it off to Adorama and let them print it- as my local places aren't good at all.
