Well,
after an iffy start with the weather over the weekend, last night we had some hefty showers pass through around 10pm, and i mean heavy
but luckily enough we where in the local pub, suppin some juice at the time!
a few clouds scudded by and a beautiful clear sky appeared with very little atmospheric turbulance. (ie, no twinkling litte stars).
after getting the chap Ben underway, we all stood back in awe looking at the sky, watching the occasional sattelite and a real good shooting star or two pass by.
with the temp droping i made a few last frames and share the best here.
Taken with my 5dmk2 (in know ) and nikon 14-24 at around 18mm at 2.8 iso4000 15 secs yielded near perfect pin point stars looking due south. doubled processed in ACR http://www.sussexlandscapephotography.co.uk/dommm.jpg
Nice one, Simon. Hope you're doing well. By the way, I'm scheduled to be in your area late June through early July. Let you know my plans after all is confirmed.
