More images of the amazing variety of Belize birds we saw during a one week visit in February.
Some of my favorite Central American birds are the Trogons. We saw four different varieties in Belize. Unfortunately they tend to be pretty skittish and they generally stay in the shadows in the rain forest, not ideal for photography. But I thought I would share them all the same.

Great job finding and capturing the Trogon's Jim, it doesn't look easy at all.
The Toucan is a beauty, I always enjoy seeing their huge bills.
