Our coastal weather is seldom as sunny and warm as along the southern half of the California coast- but it's always beautiful.
And I did get some sunlight that day .

I had seen nothing but blue lupines- from California to Alaska.
Then I drove to Canada's Maritimes, and they were very long-stemmed and a variety of colors.
Same in New Zealand- although I didn't drive there .
