Thanks man for your honesty. I do like my B&W dark most of the time. I can't explain it, I just love the look of it. Thanks again
You just said what I was looking for You love it. Love the look.... If you love it and dont care what other think except for your clients and your clients are booking you. Then you nailed it. Good job.
Its been quite some time since i posted in FM. Your picture made me post this .
First off, am not an experienced photographer as most fellow FM's around. So, do take my suggestions with a pinch of salt.
I love your creativity here. Like you, i love contrast. But i would work this shot a bit more. The fact that veil is in focus puts this picture in a set rather than a standalone shot.
But if i were to make it a standalone one, i would focus on the couple. Specifically on their eyes. Would try a couple of snaps with their eyes closed as well as open. Am guessing the closed one will work better adding a bit of emotion...
What adds to that is the veil covering rest of their face revealing only the eyes and forehead has a dramatic effect. May be lit up their face a bit more as well.
Just a suggestion. I loved the photograph as it is. Brilliant creativity.
