I just thought I would share this. I purchased this on e-bay to see if it will work with my Eye-F1 Mobile X2 8 gb card, in my Canon 5D 2.

CF to SD adapter

I just got it and yes it does work, but not automatically. I can download the photos to my Nexus 7 tablet or computer when I link them. For $16 and a Eye-Fi card you can set up an ad hoc network anywhere.

I use the same adapter in my 7D . I use it with the transcend wifi card which is cheaper and has a larger capacity than the eyefi .

I also use it with a few different SD cards (it helps feed my iPad with images

)
