Vision? I dunno but airframes just don't come much sexier than a F4-U Corsair. You may see some vignetting in these...godawfully bright and the only lens hood I had on hand was for a 105, not a 50.

Judging by the hook, I'm guessing the plane worked off an aircraft carrier? In WWII?

That'd be my guess, Charlie. I didn't get an opportunity to speak with the owner(s). This was the static display prior to the actual airshow. BTW, that tailhook doesn't look all that substantial but then, this airframe probably doesn't weigh what a modern fighter does either.
